Access to Justice Program

  • The American Bar Association has established the ABA Coronavirus (COVID-19) Task Force made up of volunteer attorneys and judges. They have collected resources for attorneys and courts about remote services, court access, and legal needs arising from the pandemic. The Task Force aims to identify the legal needs arising from the pandemic, make recommendations to address those needs, and help mobilize volunteer lawyers and legal professionals to assist people who need help.
  • The National Center for State Courts has collected resources about remote court access, including information about access for people with limited financial means, and has technical assistance available for courts.
  • The Self-Represented Litigation Network (SRLN) has developed a number of best practices and guidance for remote self-help service delivery.
