WELCOME TO ACCESS TO JUSTICE!
The NM Commission on Access to Justice (ATJ) is an independent, statewide body dedicated to expanding and improving civil legal assistance in the state. The Commission was created on May 28, 2004 by New Mexico Supreme Court Order No. 04-8300. See “2004 Supreme Court Order Establishing the NM Commission on Access to Justice.”
The Commission is composed of 18 voting commissioners appointed by the Supreme Court of New Mexico and representative of the bar, judiciary, and legal aid providers. Applicants are designated by either the Supreme Court or the State Bar of New Mexico, or are liaison or ex officio members by virtue of their official positions.
